Launch of Equation, a major Green ICT initiative

Prompt is proud to announce the launch of Equation, a major Green ICT initiative, made possible by a $30 million contribution from the Quebec government and a investment totalling $40 million from six industry partners. The announcement was made today in Quebec City by Sam Hamad, Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade (MDEIE), The project is part of a public-private partnership approach announced in the 2010-2013 Quebec Research and Innovation Strategy. The six participating companies, identified in 2010 by the MDEIE, are CGI, Ericsson, Fujitsu Canada, IBM, Miranda Technologies Inc. and Teledyne DALSA.
