Adoption of a merger agreement with CINQ at Prompt’s Annual General Meeting of Members

During Prompt’s Annual General Meeting of Members that took place in Montréal, on April 24th, the members voted in favour of the merger of the Consortium en innovation numérique du Québec (CINQ) and Prompt, both non profit organizations.
The directors and members of CINQ first approved the merger process on April 10th 2014, followed by the directors of Prompt on April 23rd 2014.

The merger of CINQ and Prompt will consolidate research and innovation project development initiatives in the broad area of information and communications technology (ICT) by adding the important component of media technologies to Prompt’s service offer.

The administrative stages of the merger will be completed during the upcoming months. The newly merged organization will keep the name Prompt and will be officially launched in the fall.
