Financing your ICT R&D

Grant financing for ICT research partnerships

Prompt works closely with the Ministère de l’Économie, Science et Innovation/Ministry of the Economy, Science and Innovation (MESI), as well as with other organizations, such as the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and MITACS, to support the development and financing of ICT-related projects in applied research and development.

Prompt provides for grant financing of up to 40 percent of the total value of a research partnership project. It’s often possible to match Prompt financing with a federal public grant (NSERC, MITACS). In these cases, grant financing may cover up to 80 percent of the project’s total value.
